Thursday October 17 2019: Aroop Roy, Black Loops, Dan Shake, Demuja, Fouk, Jimpster, Lövestad, Mahabe137, Matt Masters, Pablo Discobar Soundsystem, SHMLSS and Some Chemistry.
Something good has been cooking and now we are excited to announce that we’ll be back at ADE for a label showcase on Thursday 17th October. We’ve joined forces with local promoters SES and pulled out all the stops to provide what will be an amazing night of music and all-round good vibes. With a crew of some of the finest names in underground house and disco, aided by the best local heroes, this is set to be the hot ticket to kick off the ADE long weekend!
With a line-up of this quality, SES had to find the perfect venue, and we feel they did just that! The Pollux Pacific is a beautifully restored three mast sailing ship moored in the heart of the buzzing NDSM area. With an intimate 450 capacity across three rooms, an open deck area with beautiful views over the IJ and easily accessible from Central Station using the NDSM ferry (or by car of course), this is a striking and unique location to immerse yourself in the finest music around.
But please be aware there are only limited tickets available so book early to be part of the Journey: Tickets
Freerange & Delusions Of Grandeur
Hitting their 23rd Birthday in June this year, and having been responsible for discovering some of the best up and coming producers in electronic music, it’s safe to say that London-based Freerange Records is one of the most consistent and acclaimed UK indie House labels operating today. Permanently placed in the Top 15 ‘All Time Most Charted Labels’ on RA demonstrates the high regard with which Freerange is held by the worlds best tastemaker DJ’s and producers. Alongside Tom Roberts, label partner and A&R man Jimpster continues to impress with recent LP’s (Silent Stars), EP’s (Burning Up), remixes (for the likes of Kerri Chandler, Bawrut, Charles Webster and Detroit Swindle), collaborations (with Kuniyuki, Seal and Karizma) as well as a busy worldwide DJ schedule all ensuring he stays on top of his game.
Ten years ago, with Freerange firmly on the map the time was right for Jamie and Tom to have a second baby. The duo rose to the challenge of course and sister label Delusions Of Grandeur was born in 2009. Again, the focus was on discovering and establishing new talent, building a strong family of regular artists and to retain an underground ethos with an open- minded, vinyl-centric musical output, this time with an emphasis on a more eclectic, raw and disco-influenced house sound. 12″ releases from the likes of Nebraska, Medlar, Adesse Versions and Tornado Wallace sit alongside double and triple vinyl LP’s from Session Victim, thatmanmonkz and 6th Borough Project whilst Folamour, DJ Nature, Linkwood, Idjut Boys and I:Cube have all graced the label with remixes, helping to create another essential imprint with an underground yet global appeal.
